LBF put on their first Family Fusion Conference this past Saturday, April 28th. I was assigned to a workshop but was not needed after all... was I glad that I brought my camera. In a world where business, stress, and electronic gadgets has dismantled the family, I had a great time photographing families being themselves in a church event designed to bring families back together through learning and fun. Through games and learning seminars, LBF wanted to promote deeper family ties, strengthen our church as a family, and reach out to our community. Most of my photos were taken at the outside "family breakout" games; I never had enough time to explore what was taking place inside the various seminar rooms. As you will see, I tagged along with the motley crew of pirates as families walked the grounds of LBF in a 52 item scavenger hunt. Captain Kirk Kushin looked just a little too much like George Michaels in his costume. Way to go Kirk on all your hard work and success!
